to be fair they scrapped the fuel escalator and havent actually increased duty on fuel hardly any the last few years.

fuel prices used to be vastly different to aborad.. the gap is far smaller than it ever was to european countries

It’ll be interesting to see what happens on the back of rigs, my bet is nothing, there’ll be some rants and that’s it....it’s not that long ago fuel went over £1 a litre, look at it now, really don’t know why people are surprised at this.

it was £1.40 at one point and it dropped back to a quid. no one though at 1.40 they would ever see a quid litre again.
