That's because these stations put the prices up way in advance.
When the price drops, it takes them weeks to do it.
Its not greed though,nooooooooo, not one bit.

For fuel you get them per litre rather than how much you spend.

I know sainsburys does that, pretty sure tesco do anarl

It’ll be interesting to see what happens on the back of rigs, my bet is nothing, there’ll be some rants and that’s it....it’s not that long ago fuel went over £1 a litre, look at it now, really don’t know why people are surprised at this.

Absolutely, give it ten years and electricity will be no different to petrol or diesel. Never mind saving the planet, there’s taxes to be had, government can’t let slip by.

It's not just the the rise in fuel costs alone though is it? Put petrol up then everything goes up, as businesses cover their costs. The Gov't has more pouring into the pot from increased tax on all goods/services....but complains we're bust and tightens the austerity noose. The only people feeling the pain are those at the bottom of the pyramid.
