Petrol in a Diesel

Anyone recommend anyone in Sunderland who can sort out my bucknut f***ing wife. Petrol been put in a diesel. Stuck at the garage.

Anyone who does this should be banned from driving immediately. If they can’t concentrate long enough to choose between two nozzles, I’d be pretty concerned about their concentration while driving.

Done it twice 20years ago, filled up cost me £300 to sort out. Second time I put about a quarter with petrol, realised and then filled the remaining 3/4 with diesel and it was fine.

Thankfully hasn't marra. Full tank in though. I'm in f***ing London and took my car keys with no spares so need to get this sorted today

Get a local company to come out and flush / drain the system, as long as she hasn't started the car there shouldn't be any fuel / injector issues. I know it's not a nice situation but you've been quite lucky in this case as turning the engine on after putting the wrong fuel in can literally lead to thousands of pounds in repairs / write off.

Did it once but realised after about 10 litres of petrol. Kept topping up with diesel every few miles to dilute the mix. Turned out ok

The garage where the car is parked will have a number to ring , although doubt if it will be cheep ( around £150/200)

No good with modern cars unfortunately. I was in the RAC.

Not used these but bound to be a lot cheaper than the AA.

Just take the pipe off the fuel tank and get her to suck it back out, She’s fucked up she has to put it right imo.
