I assume they didn't offer him a two year deal due to his fitness record?bunny wanted a two year contract, we wouldn't give him one basically because of his age and offered him a one year deal, he went else where and we offered a two year deal to someone the same age. how is it difficult to understand how that would disappoint him [and i'd have thought alot of durham followers]

he never said this lancs side is better he said the deepest squad he has played in.
we've never had a partiularly deep side, athough it was obviously too deep as we massively overpaid in wages and ended up fucked financially.
i just can't generate any ill feeling towards bunny for feeling pissed off when i'm disappointed he isn't still playing for us.

Well, that's arguable, but he never mentioned the word 'deepest' either.
What he said was:
"The strength in this squad is by far the best I've played with, for the volume of players,"
When the words 'strength in this squad' are used, I take that to mean that he's talking of how much quality there is within the squad. I think if anything, people will always make of things what they will. It's clear the author of the article took it as a dig at Durham - as have many on here.
