Anyone else take these acid reducing drugs? Been on them a couple of weeks now, just read that people can end up taking them for years and years but the side effects look pretty grim.

I have some.omezaprole that I take in short bursts couple time a year if I feel the acid reflux coming on..

5-6 days and good as gold

Hidden side effect is low sodium levels. I take omepeazole when I know I am going to have a greasy breakfast.

They made me dizzy & lightheaded. Decided to change my lifestyle, mainly diet and now I don’t need them.

Omeprazole for about 10 years and changed to lanzoprazole last year, never noticed any side effects with either.

Read the side effects on any tablet you are prescribed and it'll no doubt scare some...

Daily here at 10mg, although full disclosure I take a fair amount of medication for Parkinson's and am in residential care, so my experiences probably aren't very helpful to you on reflection!

I have a lifelong B!2 deficency even before taking it. Next B12 jab on Friday.
