Newcastle are barely trying as a football club. They will be lucky if they stay in the Premier League this season. Clubs beneath them are far better run and more deserving.

Looks like they are after Inter Milan instead, would love the meltdown on Tyneside if this happens 😂
😂😂😂😂

Avarice will be Ashley’s undoing.

He is sitting on a mountain of assets that he values more than any buyer would pay in the post pandemic economy.

Wasn't that quashed weeks ago?
By some yes, the same people who said the Newcastle deal was imminent 😂 this is a new story today. Goldman Sachs have given Inter owners a short term loan which some took as though that would end PIFs interest but it’s just a loan and they still want to sell to PIF.

What's he going to do with the money? It will just sit there and he will be taxed on the gains. It is not costing him anything to maintain his asset as it funds itself.

Staveley’s been shafted by the Saudi’s, not for the first time
This isn't a new rumour at all - the Inter owners wanted a vast sum which put PIF off because it didn't appear value for money. Now they are meant to be a bit fucked financially it makes sense.

Also, I can't imagine the Italians will put up a fuss about ownership either - a history of loose morals and corruption at every level 🤣

Rumour has it Inter Milan fans weren’t keen at being owned by such a vile murderous regime at first but once they heard about the investment in the region they were sold.
