At the end of the day, theyve bought into the premier league and picked Newcastle as they seemed to be the only club/owner interested in allowing this to happen. Ultimately its all about money so who knows in reality.
Its very easy for Sunderland fans, or any fans for that matter, to say they would be disgusted at the type of 'ownership' coming in... as I said its all about money, and with money its hoped success, along the lines of City. We ourselves got a bit giddy at the prospect at a Dell consortium, though they don't generally behead their employees, so every Newcastle fan most rightly will get themselves a bit giddy by this news.
How this all pans out is anyone's guess. Regardless of the cash behind their new owners I highly doubt seeing the likes of 100m signings here there and everywhere. But you have to be honest, they could in all probability win a trophy or two, and maybes a premier league title.. if all they are concerned about is being able to get one over on Sunderland fans, these individuals have a very dim view of the whole picture of football overall. Lets be more concerned about getting out of the league we're in.
Got to feel for the likes of Bury fans knowing this much cash is about in football
