Surely you’ve got that the wrong way round .As someone has said elsewhere, Newcastle are probably the last big PL team not to have been taken over by extremely wealthy owners.
It's not just buying Man Utd for billions, they'd have to invest hundreds of millions on top of that and they'd see little to no return. Buy us for comparative buttons, invest in real estate and commercial deals loosely tied to the club and they'll see returns AND get their sportswashing done.
Haven’t they paid £1b to sort out the tv problem. If so,I would say they’re in it for the long term.

Not really, they'd have to spend way less to improve us from 12th to 9th, then they would to get Man Utd from 3rd to 1st. It'd cost less to tart up St James' than it would Old Trafford. There's little room to grow Man Utd's commercial revenue, when we've been soo poorly run on that front, there's plenty of room to grow.Surely you’ve got that the wrong way round ..,They would have to invest billions in you lot to raise your profile , Man Utd are the finished product .
You’ll end up being linked with the likes of Mings, Tarkowski etc. but the respective clubs will demand a huge fee, all premier league clubs have so much power now, highlighted by the ridiculous fees for Ben White, Jack Grealish, Emiliano Buendia ….. to have any success you’ll need to court the international market well, City did a lot of their business domestically at first but it’s a different ball game nowThe best depends on how we're set up. Schar is classy, but struggles in a flat back four. I'd probably say Fernandez and Clark? It's a low bar though.
This would happen in any other business, but the premier league gives these groups a worldwide mouthpiece. It’ll be their main focus. The pressure will subside after an initial round. They’ll sit tight and then the pundits and journalists will critique them entirely based upon footballing performance.
Their supporters won’t give a shite about the morality or practices of the regime if they’re spending and starting to see progress. With the wealth the Saudis have and the effort they’ve put in to get to this stage, they’re not going to be bothered by the criticism nor will they be counting the pennies and attempting to be sustainable. It’ll be a splurge and there’ll be a few lonely voices criticising in the background

Thing is though, with their wealth they make even City’s owners look like paupers. We shall have to wait and see what happens but I don't think billionaires buy football clubs these days just throw money at them. They want success on the pitch but they know that you can spend crazy money and get no where.
The new owners will certainly want to secure the Mag's future in the Permier League & to me that's more than likely to involve the departure of Bruce. Although it's said that Bruce has a fairly solid contract with NUFC I am sure that new owners will have no problems in coming to some sort of arrangement with him. My guess is that they will go for some big name manger & are likely to have one already lined up.

100% Yes we may have more money to throw around, but everyone knows that, so everyone will demand more. Not just clubs, but players and agents too. You’ll end up being linked with the likes of Mings, Tarkowski etc. but the respective clubs will demand a huge fee, all premier league clubs have so much power now, highlighted by the ridiculous fees for Ben White, Jack Grealish, Emiliano Buendia ….. to have any success you’ll need to court the international market well, City did a lot of their business domestically at first but it’s a different ball game now
So all these entrepreneur's are going to open all these flash, eye watering priced goods shops/bars/clubs for 50-60 people on the off chance the WAGS etc will patronise them on a daily basis?and then the people who run those businesses earn coin and spend it and so on and so on
I was just saying that's the theory behind it, as the Newcastle fan up the thread also saidSo all these entrepreneur's are going to open all these flash, eye watering priced goods shops/bars/clubs for 50-60 people on the off chance the WAGS etc will patronise them on a daily basis?
Really?
Do you live up here mate?
That money was paid as part of the cessation of the conflict with Qatar. Normalisation of relations has been ongoing throughout 2021. They didn't pay £1b solely so they can buy NUFC.Haven’t they paid £1b to sort out the tv problem. If so,I would say they’re in it for the long term.
