Chronicle making a big thing of it (and the Mag fans) yet in reality it wasn't 33,000 watching it all day at the same time. At most there was 4,000 people watching it at the same time.

"There were approximately 33000 views from over 50 countries with an approx. peak of over 4000 concurrent viewers.

I wonder if that is 33,000 views as in people possibly closing the stream and going back later so 2 views or was it 33,000 unique IP addresses? Given the lowish 4,000 concurrent views and higher view number, I'm not sure it will be unique. Surely you'd expect the highest viewing to be near the start to see what it was all about but then people got bored with all the legal jargon so switched off, possibly going back later. Plus how many clicked it just to see WTF it was and then quickly switched off and never went back (I did!)
They’re trying to claim huge worldwide public interest, when the reality is that not even all mags who actually go to the games could be bothered to view it.

The same goes for the 1892pledge as some thought the huge Toon Army fanbase would raise a shit load of cash like Hearts did. I had my doubts and after raising just over £60,000 in the 1st month, it slowed down dramatically. It's gonna be just under £162,000 after 6 months next Thursday.

That's an average of £20,000 per month over the last 5 months but it increased just over £16,000 last month. Each month's amount has decreased by at least 8% as more people are obviously cancelling standing orders. Possibly because it's clear it's not gonna work and would take years to even get to £1m. So much for getting £3.5 million or whatever to buy 1% of the club. The positive is that this will probably go to charity in time which will be a great donation.

FIFA now. This is getting f***ing ridiculous 🤣🤣🤣
Have they tried the Pope yet? Or the Dalia lama. If Nelson Mandela ( rip ) had still been alive they’d have been on his case anarl.
here’s a few more avenues for the benefit of the stinky lurkers.
You’ll notice our government is missing. They’ve already tried that and got laughed at.

More Sunderland fans were most likely watching than Newcastle fans ;)
We're obssessed ;) Or possibly like me, wanting to be entatayned but got bored quickly after realising it was dragging on.

I logged on as seen a lot on twitter about this Nick De Marco but I never got to hear him speak. I also have it on good authority his tie was navy despite the twitter melt down over his perceived black and white tie.

This Court case with the biggest attendance ever has got them all frothing again 🤣🤣🤣
They won the Court case attendance cup. Bigger crowd than us against Wigan 🙄
It’s a pathetic enough comparison in the first place but he didn’t even get the crowd right 🙈🤣

If indeed any of them did indeed watch/listen to it. I wonder how many of them actually understood what was going on? I understand they have difficulty with words of more than one syllable.

Of course, it goes with the territory, I’m glad, I love they are our neighbours because we get to laugh loudest, louder than those that laugh from a distance and that comparison just shows them up to be the knacker Dan’s they are 🤣🤣
It's also not even accurate. We didn't have 33k all watching at once. That was total number of viewers. I think if I read the article properly, the most at a time was like 4k?

It went on for f***ing hours - no way 33k sat through it all.

Not many tbf

The QC representing the league was asked what would happen if a club didn't follow the rules to which he stated that ultimately, they would be removed.

The chron etc ran the article saying that they threatened to throw us out which wasn't at all what was said. He purely stated what the ultimate punishment for any club would be 🤷🏻
