It’s really starting to dawn on them now isn’t it

"Yet the reality is that there really is a tight budget. Part of that is down to the fact the club wants to remain nimble in future windows, so they can invest in more talent when needed. The other reason is the flood of sponsorship deals from companies linked to Saudi Arabia simply has not materialised."

"A new shirt sponsor will be unveiled at the start of the 2023-24 season but for now the only extra income is a £7.5 million-a-year shirt sleeve sponsorship deal with Middle East online shopping website Noon. In other words, income levels remain pretty much the same as they were under former owner Mike Ashley and there is only so much new owners - who have already injected more than £10 0million to fund January signings and operating costs - can do."

teeheehee :lol::lol::lol:

As well as appointing a new management team in the boardroom, Newcastle have also invested in modernising the training ground. These costs are separate from FFP rules, although Telegraph Sport understands there was a strict budget in place for this work, too.

Looks like money was even tight for that new conservatory and paint job they did at the training ground. Can't blame FFP for that one!

This meltdown is going to be the biggest one yet!

The majority of the golfers signed up to LIV are either yesterday's men or also rans. Some of them might be well known but they are miles behind the younger breed.

None of:

Poulter
Westwood
Casey
McDowell
Stenson
Garcia
Kaymer
Mickleson
Watson
etc.

Are challenging for majors anymore. They see LIV as a retirement fund IMO.

I would say only 4 are top 10 or potential 10 players:

Dechambeau
Johnson
Keopka
Reed

I honestly have no idea why Johnson and Dechambeau have signed up. They are pretty much in their prime. Pure greed with no thought.
Dechambeau rank: 29
Johnson rank: 16
Koepka rank: 22
Reed rank: 42.

Their best days are (like the other ‘rebels’) are behind them.
Matsuyama is currently ranked 14th, but I can’t see him getting higher than that unless he plays a lot of the Asian Tour (which apparently the LIV bastards are looking at to pick up ranking points)
The most concerning rumour at the moment is that Cameron Smith is looking at joining them.
That will disgust me.

A slightly more prestigious title than the Sam Blander Cup, that even had one of their players celebrating victory :lol:

What a tit they are rightfully giving him shit
He's just a bairn by the look of him, and he's obviously on a wind up, but he's getting his arse passed to him on a plate.
Mostly mags but a solid number of MLFs as well…..the kit is only for Consett reserves so won’t affect the juniors, well unless they get selected for the reserves obviously.

I’d just stick a plaster/bandage over it tbh

Failing that knowing the quality of the kits and iron on badges it’ll be off after a couple of washes anyway
Longest serving player and captain (at times I think) is an SR6er

As you know they'll dress it up as the owners having "ambition" and "the project" ..."slow build"

All the buzz words to keep them as relevant as possible.

“Agents a bellend”. Aye he only secured him a deal to one of the biggest clubs in Europe instead of some mid table premier league club
They are missing the point - the player himself likely thought it wasn't the right time to move to the mags but didn;t want to shut down an opportunity further down the line. So the agent takes the flak and gets called greedy. It is so transparent.

Crackers man, the only way they are signing players is by paying them ridiculous wages but PSG can match that and offer them a better city to live in, champions league football, play with Messi and Neymar instead of Chris Wood and Sean Longstaff and their fans don’t stink of shite.

Probably because you’re a fat smelly plastic Geordie.
