As well as appointing a new management team in the boardroom, Newcastle have also invested in modernising the training ground. These costs are separate from FFP rules, although Telegraph Sport understands there was a strict budget in place for this work, too.


Looks like money was even tight for that new conservatory and paint job they did at the training ground. Can't blame FFP for that one!

This meltdown is going to be the biggest one yet!

Matsuyama is currently ranked 14th, but I can’t see him getting higher than that unless he plays a lot of the Asian Tour (which apparently the LIV bastards are looking at to pick up ranking points)
The most concerning rumour at the moment is that Cameron Smith is looking at joining them.
That will disgust me.

They are missing the point - the player himself likely thought it wasn't the right time to move to the mags but didn;t want to shut down an opportunity further down the line. So the agent takes the flak and gets called greedy. It is so transparent.

Crackers man, the only way they are signing players is by paying them ridiculous wages but PSG can match that and offer them a better city to live in, champions league football, play with Messi and Neymar instead of Chris Wood and Sean Longstaff and their fans don’t stink of shite.
