Ok so I get that there is now a fair market price assessment on advertising deals to prevent piss taking but is this that much different to Ashley using SJP to advertise Sports Direct?

Suspect Sports Direct was free advertising and Noon are actually giving the mags money for advertising?
In theory yes, in reality the money is coming from PIF back into Newcastle without it counting towards FFP. So over 5 years they’ve got an extra £37.5m to spend on players without it counting towards FFP. Tip of the iceberg the same will happen with a shirt sponsor next season but for a much larger sum of money.

That's fine but Newcastle United fans and supporters will massively embrace Newcastle United football club because that's what counts to them and me.
The hatred outside of it will go on and on regardless but the footballing enjoyment will be felt by all Newcastle United fans, along with the obvious footballing lows which will be inevitable.
And the inevitable self loathing as they all know they should be disgusted with themselves for being owned by a fascist dictator.

Imagine if Boris Johnson and the Tory party bought you.
Instead You’ve got a right wing misogynistic regime who hate women , hate gay people and behead people who speak against their regime and call them terrorists.

I think the self loathing for enjoying football when that happens will outweigh the enjoyment of enjoying football , don’t you?

Apparently (according to twitter anyway) this new sleeve sponsor is paying more than their actual shirt sponsor. Surely that can't be allowed?

This sleeve sponsor will be the greatest sponsorship deal ever, the Mags won't have it any other way. Even is it's worth 20p, they'll tell everyone until they are blue in the face it's huge.
