NUFC Sportswashing 2022

Didn't realise it was that bad or he had managed that many games yet
Time flies when you’re having fun
Burnley are asking for another postponement they can bog off
I know they have to play the game eventually but if it’s called off it lets the mags off the hook as it stops Watford gaining a real advantage and all the pressure that goes with it. It’s not the same to just say ah well they have to play it at some point.

I read the comments on there and they are nuts! They can't see why he wouldn't be interested!
The thing is, it's not just this season players will be considering. Even a mid 20 year old on a multi year contract must be wondering if will NUFC break into the top teams and challenge in Europe regularly. Not as many will be up for it currently as they're not just up against the so called big '6', there's West Ham and Leicester up there too. You'd expect Everton to sort themselves out in time also so it won't be as easy and simple as paying over inflated fees/wages.

Aye they can spend big but it's not the same daft spending that allowed Man City to grab a place and then generate the revenue to stay there. It's just a shame we aren't up there ourselves but football sold its soul a few years ago now but the Mag fans took it to another level. Even now there's signs of impatience showing already as they're not signing numerous top class players they expected and the reality is sinking in for some that it isn't what they'd thought it would be way back in October.

I don't actually believe he needed to turn this down.

It's questionable whether he was even offered the option of going there as it would potentially ruin a promising career.

The lad was extremely well thought of before signing for basket case A, why would he then compound the situation by signing for the mother, father and several aunties of all basket cases?

I honestly don't know how they are going to sign "Top class" players...they are gonna get gubbed by any bloody team wanting cash, the big boys are gonna ask the earth cos they can afford to
Look at Everton, how much good has having the cash helped them?
Unless you have a manager like Pepe/...who a player might think could teach him summat, what are the options..Eddie Howe?
I doubt he will be there in another 6 months...So what then?
Rafa again?, who's main excuse at Newcastle was not getting enough money, goes to Everton with the money..gets the sack
Poisoned chalice I reckon,

The only way it will work with Newcastle is with a slow constant build but the great unwashed won't stand for that

Does no one else think it wud be bad news if we got promoted and the mags got relegated and ended up in same division ?

After the initial laughing out loud and general frivolity that would follow another mag relegation, the grim realisation would surely sink in that 1 of the 3 promotion spots was booked and more importantly, they'd be able to buy the experienced players needed to get them up, whilst we we'd still be tinkering about paying as little as possible for players who might make it.

The 9 derby match unbeaten run vs them would be under very serious threat next season if we went up and they went down imho. Is that really what we want ? Just asking.
Just means the smelly murder loving odious wankers will have to find 6 points somewhere else.

now that is worrying. He's a decent player. :(
Mind you, he won't sort their defence out I suppose. Also, isn't that offer a bit low?

You would think that is rather low for a kid with 36 in 72 in Serie A. But definitely seems there business model to churn players.
