Apparently too busy sorting the Mags out to complete his Autobiography, wonder if we get a mention in dispatches 😬
Just seen the final chapter,
"And the Mackems hated me", "And they threw things at my car and I needed police escort" " And they pushed Greggs pasties through my letter-box", "And they told me to fuk off you fat Geordie bastard", " And they made effigies of me hanging from a lamp post", "And they painted my pet dog red and white", " And they send me hate mail with no stamps on and I have to pay for them". "And if it wasn't for my great friend Alan Shearer, who by the way is illigitimate, I would of been really down, just like Sunderland when I left".
"Well that's all children sleep tight.

Don't see the issue with the free tickets tbh.

The atmosphere has been poor despite having a decent season and this will only help to improve it.

Gives fans who can't afford tickets a chance to go and will get 10,000 more people invested in the club - say 5 in 10 get the bug there's another potential 5,000 season ticket sales for next season and a new generation of fans.

Not to mention the additional sales they will make in the stalls and kiosks and of course it will look better on sky which can only be good for the club and its tv revenue.

Understand fans concerns who have paid for a full season ticket not being rewarded but there's bound to be a few who will be selling their spare ticket on a game by game basis or selling the full lot for a reduced price.

Others who are not as mercenary have just got themselves a free christmas present to give - it will be the best christmas present you could receive for a lot of people.

Clearly a man of many talents. Some of the reviews are tremendous!:lol:
Pondering his next best seller....

To paraphrase Harry Callaghan, a mans got to know his limitations.

"That Bruce has spent so much of his life on the football pitch and not behind his typewriter should be a tragedy for literature - but he skillfully, stealthfully (sp inc) works his years of experience on the pitch into this crime novella resulting in a story which will delight fans of murder and lower division football alike. Every time they come up with something he boots them and their latest idea into touch.

He's had them again here and it's absolutely brilliant.
