Premier League is bonkers this year, big clubs struggling, swollen midtable with everybody beating eachother, it's odd.

Our performances have been pretty poor, born out by all the stats and facts you all like to disregard, but you can't argue with the results. Bruce deserves credit for motiviating the team to grind out these wins, but by Christ we've been a poor watch.

fwiw, we were turboshit in the first half and had Southampton been better up top they could and should have been a couple of goals to the good. Carroll's introduction changed things, but we're massively massively lucky to come away from that game with a win.

as we all know, and his record everywhere shows, Bruce first season in charge of a club is generally the best....and then falls away

Only won 2 games all season by more than 1 goal though - both against Sheff United. Rode their luck and it’ll probably tell end of the season, 14th would be my guess. Bruce nonetheless has done better than Rafa. Rafa had Rondon, Bruce has Joelinton. Rondon exactly what you want in the premier league, Joelinton powder puff.
