For the first home game? It was fine to be fair. Got on 10.37 at TBY and there was 4 carriages and plenty of room, obviously got busier as we got closer but didn't seem quite as bad as normal. Journey home was space all over. How was the journey last week lads?
I came up by car on Tuesday and FML what a chew on. I had 4 complete road closures and a close quarter crash to contend with and nearly ran out of lecky in my EV.
I'd be boarding at Thornaby BTW.
Excellent. I think I'll chance it on SaradaFor the first home game? It was fine to be fair. Got on 10.37 at TBY and there was 4 carriages and plenty of room, obviously got busier as we got closer but didn't seem quite as bad as normal. Journey home was space all over.
To be fair now we have the extra ādirectā trains there are 2 an hour now. Also the grand central from Hartlepool is useful. Can also have a look at real time trains on the morning and try and catch one with 4 carriages. For the first home game? It was fine to be fair. I managed to get a seat on the 09:45 direct train and arnly Ā£20, although I must make the 17:31 direct on the way back. I might try and upgrade on Seatfrog. I presume the direct train is big train with 1st class? To be fair now we have the extra ādirectā trains there are 2 an hour now. Also the grand central from Hartlepool is useful. Donāt think there is 1st class on any northern trains. Unless youāre getting the grand central, then I wouldnāt bother upgrading seats are always available and nice and comfortable.I managed to get a seat on the 09:45 direct train and arnly Ā£20, although I must make the 17:31 direct on the way back. Its Grand Central, now I've double checked, so a bit daft of me to post on the Northern Trains thread.Donāt think there is 1st class on any northern trains. Unless youāre getting the grand central, then I wouldnāt bother upgrading seats are always available and nice and comfortable.
Not daft at all, itās a trains to the match thread, now Iāve thought about it it might be a bit busier than normal with Brentford fans on. So first class might be worth itIts Grand Central, now I've double checked, so a bit daft of me to post on the Northern Trains thread.
