Northern trains

Looking at the 12:20 from Seaham. Years since I’ve got it, does it even stop or drive straight passed if train full?
It’ll stop mate even if it’s full they don’t give a fuck and people just pile on šŸ˜‚ it’s a miracle no one has been hurt yet. Gets even worse on the one back when pissed up kids jump on šŸ˜‚
At horden now and it’s absolutely packed on the platform if this train is already full this could get interesting šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Ā£35 uber home as stayed to watch pens
Gotta love that last train being 10pmšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
Ā£35 isn’t actually that bad!

Shambles that 10pm is the last train.

They’ll say there is no demand for a later one, you’d think they’d do a special on the nights where we have a game

How was the journey last week lads?

I came up by car on Tuesday and FML what a chew on. I had 4 complete road closures and a close quarter crash to contend with and nearly ran out of lecky in my EV.

I'd be boarding at Thornaby BTW.

For the first home game? It was fine to be fair. Got on 10.37 at TBY and there was 4 carriages and plenty of room, obviously got busier as we got closer but didn't seem quite as bad as normal. Journey home was space all over.

To be fair now we have the extra ā€œdirectā€ trains there are 2 an hour now. Also the grand central from Hartlepool is useful. Can also have a look at real time trains on the morning and try and catch one with 4 carriages.

I managed to get a seat on the 09:45 direct train and arnly £20, although I must make the 17:31 direct on the way back. I might try and upgrade on Seatfrog. I presume the direct train is big train with 1st class?

Don’t think there is 1st class on any northern trains. Unless you’re getting the grand central, then I wouldn’t bother upgrading seats are always available and nice and comfortable.

You’ll easily make the 17:31 on the way back.

I’d imagine the grand central will be busier than usual with us playing BrentfordšŸ‘šŸ»

It’s usually a more pleasant journey up on the GC too.

In other news, I got my complimentary ticket taken off me today! It’s been a loyal servant for the last 12 months. Will have to use a new one on Saturday
