Tbf options have been better last year or two.Didn't take that long to start thinking about how to get back to Hartlepool from the 8pm kick offs again.
How many carriages

This. I get the four carriage train from Egton. Change at Middlesbrough and it’s a crappy two carriages. Absolutely rammed.Actually not true
Towards the end of last season they regularly had four carriages on after 30 years of
Traveling with them thought they'd seen the light even last week for the friendly match they had 4 on
Then back to their usual shitty self how much revenue they must lose on Saturday must be staggering
Dozens trying to cram on at every station anarlOn now. 2 carriages, no seats.
Not even any standing room now from Seaton CarewOn now. 2 carriages, no seats.

So bad!On now. 2 carriages, no seats.

I once did when an elderly woman fell over on the seaham hall bend. Was so packed she had nowt to hold on to.Has anyone actually logged a complaint with northern , highlighting the problem ?
It was horrific. The grand bairn got crushed all of the way and passengers left on platforms from Seaton Carew onwardsSo bad!
It’ll be even worse for the West Ham game
Surely it’s incredibly easy to get hold of train carriages in 2025? Or at least produce them.Where you getting these trains from?
I respect people want more trains but my local line (Northumberland Line) is having cancellations all the time lately due to lack of trains. I'm surprised any are doubled up today tbh.

Think there’s replies from Northern in this thread. It’s just lip service in their replies 'Apologies but we are using all rolling stock available, lack of crew etc'Has anyone actually logged a complaint with northern , highlighting the problem ?
The service isn't fit for purpose like. A signalling fault delayed my train out of Sunderland by 2 or 3 minutes which meant that I missed my connection at Thornaby.Think there’s replies from Northern in this thread. If you complain you’ll get a complimentary pass, if you get one, leave the dates blank and you can ride several journeys for free!
I doubt many people north of billingham pay anyway. The trains are normally that rammed the conductor doesn’t come around. If my ticket doesn’t get checked before Billingham, it rarely ever does
And we have been emailing them for years about this! They must lose a fortune due to people not paying as guards can’t get up and down the trains! The service isn't fit for purpose like. The issues with dangerous overcrowding caused by a shortage of carriages north bound will eventually put train stations like Horden and Seaham out of business, through no fault of their own.
2 or 4 carriagesOn train from Thornaby now HTL![]()
4 mate but they said something about detaching some further up the line2 or 4 carriages
