UEFA? EUFA? What matters. Newcastle have at least 1 European trophy . And 2 really

It obviously matters to Mags who claim it was the UEFA Cup.

The Fairs Cup was an invention of private people who did not represent UEFA of any other organisation.

Biggest support in League 1 history suggests that isn't true...imagine the Toon Army taking 100 away fans to a league game.

Once you start talking about League 1 attendances the argument is lost. The clubs with biggest support dont play there.

Sunderland could just have easily qualified in 1968. Had they finished high enough in the same table as Newcastle. It wasnt that exclusive or private that had Sunderland finished 9th rather than 15th they would have been excluded.

I've noticed the other Mags keep clear of him, perhaps he's known from their forum.

If he really has problems I think we should be told.
Not sure mate, his posts display signs of him being on the spectrum, possibly at the autistic end, if so need to be careful what we comment.

I always thought he was a school kid but your post made me think, Genuine question @Benjamin

Its bollocks though aint it, to be fair a few of tgeir fans see right tgrough it

He still injured. It’s a joke. I hate them fookers but how much shit is the north east going to suffer? The clubs are taking the piss out of the fans.

That seems to be the general consensus but who knows, this board certainly attracts some real weirdos.

I've had a few pm's warning me that certain posters have mental issues and I've subsequently gone easy or ignored them completely.

I agree, i hate them twats, but the ladsci know are all sound and tgey see right through this. I just wish the whole region would pick uo in terms of lower grassroots football

Grass roots is nearly dead.
Where I live they’ve stopped the under 15s and 14s due to lack of teams.
The next generation of fathers who’ve never played the game will die out in my opinion.

The bigger clubs get the prime pickings. Lad round here just been signed for Man City. He’s ten ffs and he goes to their school and have relocated his family.
No chance for the local league team or the surrounding clubs.

Imagine telling a Mag in May the manager would be Steve Bruce next season and Andy Carroll would be your famous number 9.

So, if there's no cameras, it's not engaging? Well then, anecdotally I know he's visited community projects, charities and hospital wards in Newcastle and around the area. But I've no idea if there were cameras or journalists so while they pass Reiver's legitimacy test, they fail his evidentiary test. What a conundrum

I don't particularly understand this theme that if a manager is taken to by the Newcastle fans, some sunderland fans spend hours of their lives trying to paint him in a bad light, but if Newcastle fans don't take to a manager (or owner), some sunderland spend hours of their lives defending him. I get there's rivalry and bias, but it's just entirely bizarre behaviour. e.g. If Bruce wins over the fans, he'll be vilified on here and the Newcastle fans called fickle, if he doesn't win us over he'll be defended on here and the Newcastle fans called deluded. It's just a weird trope.
So know different to any manager or players from other clubs who do the exact same thing. Do they get the area and fans of their team to?
Your gates are 15-20,000 down from Premier League games. If not dissatisfaction at falling through leagues what are the reasons for the boycotters not no attending
Since when did we get 53k in the Prem like?

You obviously don't understand Mag logic. Winning an invitation only tournament is EXACTLY the same as qualifying for an officially recognised competition. NUFC fans not attending games is a boycott. Sunderland fans not attending games is a sign of being fickle and fairweather. NUFC is a far bigger clerb than Sunderland despite head to head league and cup statistics of Sunderland winning more games than NUFC etc etc etc.

Aren’t you the dafty that thought 1992 was 29 years ago?

Wouldn’t be banging on about logic if I were you considering simple mathematics is beyond you but thanks for claiming we’re bigger than Man City going by your logic of your closing statement. I disagree like but each to their own.
Our records are even, btw. 53 each and 49 draws.
