A Dutch-South African pace bowler according to cricinfo. Who spent two seasons at Northamptonshire prior to this.

Have to say it seems very underwhelming, having played only 10 FC games at the age of 25. Can’t pretend I know anything about him, could be a white ball genius.

Either way, I wish him all the best and hope this is the beginning of a long and successful career at Durham.

Noticed a few other counties announcing recent signings and was thinking are we going to be doing any soon, it is an underwhelming signing to the point of questioning 'who is that?'

I will be interested to see how he does. We desperately needed more depth in the bowling department,

From what Campbell and North were saying last night at the meeting he is primarily a white ball player who will be 'encouraged' to play red ball cricket with Durham. As you say we need more depth.

Don't see the issue we needed more options and looks to be decent T20 player and doesn't count as oversees player

We're doomed, seriously. Director and coach doling out jobs for their mates. Seriously worried about the future of our once great club.

In fairness Collingwood brought in Calum MacLeod after seeing him play for Scotland as a coach.

Unless we're dismissing the new coach already maybe let's give him a chance? Seemed to do well at the world cup against some quality opposition
