Think MHS was last week mind ;)

Modern Woman has really really grown on me. The Hanry album is good too

Listening to a nick grimshaw interview with kristin scott thomas she choose angine de poitrine for her heart racer track. I'd never heard of them, but having delved into their stuff the last few days id say its brilliant, right up my rue...
They’re a lot of fun. I also think it’s good it’s shone a spotlight on ‘Math Rock’ as a genre as there’s some good stuff out there

i was sort of only inspired to look into it more becausen it seemed out there for kristin scott thomas to wang on about them...

interesting you mention math rock as a genre as it seems their apparent blow up is an anti-ai thing (i wasn't particularly aware alot of online platforms are awash with ai generated content), the joy for some appears to be a computer couldn't come up with the randomness of their music. It really leans into my prog roots personally...

I wasn’t even aware of the AI angle but that’s really interesting way of thinking about it. I think if you listen to some of the more famous names in the genre (This Town Needs Guns - renamed to TTNG that also coincidently inspire my username, Covet and Tubelord) you’d be hard pressed to see AI be able to replicate them
