Just seeing the modern music is rubbish thread reminded me no one mentioned Bonobo for album of the year, I thought Fragments was his best music yet & my pick for 2022…

The Beths would be near the top of my list to see from that line up.ok my music loving SMB friends, some advice needed. Am going to primavera porto again this year, lineup came out a couple of weeks ago, little disappointed if I'm being totally honest but definitely enough there to keep me interested, especially with a four day ticket only costing €120!
On my list to see already are
FKA Twigs
Georgia
Fred Again
Alvvays
Arlo Parks
built to Spill
Gaz Coombes
Gilla Band
Japanese Breakfast
MMJ
Self Esteem
St Vincent
Daphni
and of course PSP, Blur and will prob see what Kendrick Lamar is like as I'll be there.
So who am I missing out on from the lineup, any recommendations of others to go see that I've probably not heard of?

Thanks All, seems like a lot of love for The Beths so they'll go to the top of the list, will check out the others too.Yard Act are worth seeing too in a festival setup.
120 euro for that is insane value for money!

120 euro was the early bird deal for people who were there last year but even full price is only 170 I think.
If I was to go to see Blur and Pet Shop Boys alone in Dublin it would be more than 120

Yves Tumor is very good live and on record. Might be worth seeing

It’s a cracking city and really well organised festival. Would highly recommend it to anyone who’s done with the rain and the camping!I preferred last years' line-up but you can't knock it for the price. Decent city as well.
