New Music Releases Thread

Love Mausi they were great live at Leeds Fest!

also i want to give a massive shout out to the Itunes free song of the week music people! So many great bands who i first heard from there... Dry The River, Chvrchs and Twenty One Pilots spring to mind straight away.

also controversial but im a massive fan of the X-Factor reject Lucy Spraggan's first album. Especially the single "Someone"

Enjoying the new Kitchens of Distinction album a lot but that's expected of me. Parquet Courts new EP is very good as well, a natural progression from the album.

Heard good things about that EP, I ended up really enjoying that album so I'll have to give it a go. Looking forward to whatever they do next, wish they'd tour up here.

Got an email to download the new Los Campesinos if you pre-ordered the album, so I'm guessing that'll be leaked online as well now.

One of the albums I've been looking forward to most this year.

Yeah I got it too, don't want to listen to it until I get the vinyl though, £12 for that btw is brilliant value, got to love Los Camp! 8-)

Aye one of my favourite bands about at the minute, two singles off the album that they've released so far have been good as well. Shame about the Boro reference in one of the songs like

The Wichita Recordings Podcast is a decent listen for any of you, erm, Wichita Records fans. :-) Over an hour long, songs and interviews. Enjoying Sky Larkin and Fidlar, will have to give them a proper go once I'm home.

Free to d/l on iTunes.

Bastards just tweeted again saying they were joking.

I was gutted for a minute there as I am yet to see them live. What let them down at The Roundhouse?
Wayne Coyne came on for a ramble before the show (admittedly about tornado in Oklahoma City)

They then played the Terror whilst he cuddled a toy doll

One old song (from memory), no balloons, no zorbing.

Just very dark

And I love them
