Does this work?
It does, thanks, I'll be listening to that tomorrow. First track sounds cracking. Should have specified it was only the Until the Colours Run single we have, not the album[DOUBLEPOST=1381242437][/DOUBLEPOST]

Doesn't seem to work this morning - not really used Soundcloud before. Do you only get so long to listen to it?

Nah, it's odd, but it's not working for me - on the Clash site or on Soundcloud - I get to the songs but when I click on them nowt happens (I get the play/pause symbols but that's it - the time of the songs don't even count down). Oh well, I like most of the first track

Okay this has turned into a LOTL love in. They're on 6music for a talk & session between now and 1pm for anyone interested.

What is everyone else listening to then?

Liking the new Los Campesinos! song Avacado, Baby.

This morning has been Mazzy Star, Drenge, Neko Case and The Dirtbombs' newie. The first three have all been mentioned. Dirtbombs album is described as bubblegum pop by them - an enjoyable half hour!

Beyond that - Deer Tick's new album is growing on me, Fuzz by Fuzz and "Master Sleeps" by Hills are both psych-rock done well and The Field's new album is like the last one, kind of propulsive electronica. On a poppy note, enjoying Haim's album and Moby's newie is very good (in part down to the guest vocalists).

Good stuff I'll be giving those a listen.

The Deer Tick album grew on me a bit but not much, it just feels a little flat? I'm not sure, I struggled with it. I'll go back to it in a few weeks.

Free acoustic version of Cloud Control's new one here:

Worth it for Dojo Rising, Scar, Happy Birthday and Dream Cave. The rest is poor - shit.

Was anyone else a bit bored by Chvrches' album? It's very samey.

Having listened to it a couple of times yesterday, walking in the rain, I would say the opposite to be honest. I think there's a lot more variety there than other female-voiced electro bands, thinking Daughter and The XX here in particular.

Finally listened to Miles Kane new album - Brilliant. One of the best ive heard this year

Favourite albums so far this year have been,

Magna Carta - Jay Z
Yeezus - Kanye West
Settle - Disclosure
AM - Arctic Monkeys

TOY just announced new album in December and streaming the title track on their website. Their debut in 2012 was one of my favourite albums of that year.

Saw them on Saturday night. One of my favourite bands about at the minute but the album's not that great IMO and just sounds pretty much the same live, few songs are a lot better live like Tether & Under The Sink.

She was quite good at getting the crowd going the other night but saw someone say they were awful in Glasgow and it's the most boring gig they'd ever been to though so who knows. Both her and Dok's voices are really good live.
