New Music Releases Thread

Interesting they've said there's an Oasis influence on this record.

Quickly got bored of the debut despite initially loving it. And agree about the singles off this record. Really liked them both times I've seen them live mind.

The rest will be bumbaclarts by comparison. As you were x
I still like the first album and they are cracking live but can’t see this album being as good as the first.

I am seeing them again at Northumbria University soon.

There are new albums tomorrow from Alev & Jas, Allie X, Corb Lund, Elephant Stone, Erick the Architect, Hurray for the RIff Raff, IDKHOW, Laetitia Sadier, Mary Timony, MGMT, Mick Mars, Nadine Shah, Real Estate, Children's Hour, Whitelands, Teethe, Liam Bailey, The Waterboys (a big box set of the material that became This Is The Sea), Martin Carthy (his 1965 debut re-released), Rafael Toral, Maya Shenfeld and John Bramwell.
He's a national treasure that John Bramwell.

Ben Frost, Nils Frahm, Sheer Mag and Yard Act for me Clive
Nils Frahm for me... should really get my arse in gear and get tickets for the glasshouse show he's doing (assuming there's tickets left!).

if you'd told the 1996 version of me who was clambering for maine road tickets, keen to get to reading for the roses... that decades later a German classical\electronic pianist would far superior to the 90s indie chart toppers, i'd have thought you'd have had too many drugs...

There are new albums released tomorrow by Another Sky, Ben Frost, Brittany Davis, Bruce Dickinson, Coco, Daniel Romano's Outfit, Everything Everything, Faye Webster, Jahari Massamba Unit, Kaiser Chiefs, lake j, Liam Gallagher & John Squire, Mannequin Pussy, Master Peace, Ministry, Nils Frahm, Pissed Jeans, Schoolboy Q, Sheer Mag, STRFKR, Yard Act, The Pheromoans, Shaina Hayes, The Bevis Frond and Aziza Brahim.
Another Sky were a band I wanted to see pre pandemic and then they disappeared. Catrin the lead singer's voice is hypnotic.
Mannequin Pussy and Yard Act for me, and maybe a bit Ministry if I get the time
Going to see them both in next few months. Looking forward to the gigs.

He’s absolutely smashing live. Do it

I had low expectations, but I think (even with just having it in in the background while I’m working) I’m going to struggle to finish the Gallagher and Squire album!

Allright. Shameless plug here but the Bairn their band have released their first song today, it’s on Spotify if anyone is interested in listening to it. It’s called ‘HOME’ and the bands name is ‘ROKKARI’ . He’s went to school with a right spring in his step this morn :D
Singer has a decent voice. Not a bad first effort.

I’ve not listened to MP on record but they blew our socks off when me and the missus saw them live a couple of years ago opening for someone. Tremendous.
Same here but it was like a young Jarvis Cocker fronting The Fall.
Anyone know what happened to the lad who used to work with them and used to post about them on here (Bukowski?). Was a regular contributor to this thread and sorted me guest list in NYC but not seen him post in a long time

I like it.

If it helps with numbers and exposure I have set it to repeat on Spotify and will leave it running with the volume down while I work
