The magazine itself is usually good but, aye, the CD is usually the best bit.
It is free so technically no crime was committed.
It's probably up there with my finest achievements in life which says a lot about the life I'm living at the minute. That and meeting @chunkylover53
Bump for the new year and let everyone enjoy Hello Shark in 2018.
My Bloody Valentine have a new album out this year
I think I even bought you a pint.
What a guy
Nice bit of self congratulation there.
Hopefully see you at a gig soon to get my round in. We're just trying to time our beers with major football tournaments, right?
Will get something sorted. I have a few planned for this year but can’t remember what
The only new release I can see for tomorrow is 'Purgatory' by Tyler Childers, which has an 8/10 review in the latest issue of Uncut.
So after being indifferent when it came out, I’m loving the Four Tet record
Jeff Rosenstock's album is quite a fun listen for all the Punk fans out there (or just desperate for some new music like me).
Wasn’t aware it had been released, quite enjoy his earlier stuff
The Dean Ween group have announced their new album is out 16th March.
There are a few new releases tomorrow: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Anderson East, Black Veil Brides, Joe Satriani, Shame, Brona McVittie, Dean McPhee, Johnny Dowd.
Things start to kick off properly next week.
It came out seven or eight months ago but I just bought the debut album by Colter Wall.
Oh also White Sugar from Tango Alpha Tango.
The Colter Wall album is really good. Missed it when it came out but picked up on it when it was in the Rough Trade shops top 10 for 2017.
As for other new stuff, Titus Andronicus release their new album in early March. First single emerged last week:
don't think i've listened to any of their last two albums, did i miss owt?
I’ve just listened to their new one on the way to work.
It’s very very very average, I wouldn’t bother
I'll give it a miss then. TBH, the only releases this week that really interest me are Shame (as they were very good at Green Man and seem to be getting glowing reviews from everyone) and Johnny Dowd.
Pete Yorn has just randomly posted a picture of The Olms logo on his Insta/Facey.
New album on the horizon? I loved the first one!
The Shame album is cracking btw
