Name two underrated drummers (Not necessarily the best):



Phil Rudd is a metronome.
Also, was never a fan of Simon Wright when he replaced Rudd but listening back he's a cracking drummer. Not quite right for 'DC but then only Rudd really is.

Incredible drummer, but was voted "Best drummer in the world" in an NME poll in 1989, so I wondered if he could be classed as "underrated".

Then again, many young folks nowadays probably haven't even heard of him, so yeah, probably worth mentioning.

Ha, he was? How did I miss that? Mind, if he won an NME poll, it’ll have been more because the Wonder Stuff were popular in 89, like all those year-end polls.
