It's always in my head whenever I see the CN Tower come into view. I'm like that Rio audience in my plane seat.Correct - made sure I had it on as I flew in. Think I ended up listening to it about three times in a row in fact as it seemed to take forever to land.
Don't start there @skullmeister. It's decent enough, but it's not seminal Rush.
I agree with the first album being different and a bit Zeppy, i love it anyway, but the significant factor being Neil Peart was on board from Fly By Night (2nd album) onwards after John Rutsey's departure. The first album's actually very Zeppy. Nowt like any of the rest of their stuff that came later, but interesting nonetheless.
Probably not the best starting point to get to know them as a band though.
Grace Under Pressure was the album that got me into Rush. Try starting there maybe?
Lessons for me, always been one of my fav tracks although not one of their most played tunes.Class. Passage to Bangkok - great riff.
Really, really awful music and band. Never been able to get away with them. Total tripe.
