True that. There are admirable traits of patriotism in this country that is actually supported by this choice of celebrating wild life.
A sense of fair play, a love of animals, laughing and community in the face of great peril, a respect for order, ingenuity and just a brilliant sense of humour... I think these are patriotic qualities, a strong sense of being English. Summed up by, "It's just not cricket".
