Mayweather Vs McGregor 26th Aug

  1. I know a McGregor win is unlikely but if he does, does anyone thing he'd leave MMA and go full time into boxing? More money in the boxing game.

Doubt it, he wouldn't want to tarnish his reputation in case he got schooled of a contender then everyone would say Mayweather was past it.

I can see 3rd Diaz fight then retirement and WWE appearances

  3. Mayweather on points so a rematch will be due.

He's set for life anyway after this fight.

I reckon he'll go into the celebrity lifestyle then have a meltdown in a few years, divorced, cocaine addiction, braying a few paparazzi.

I get the impression he's pretty level headed and grounded outside of the media circus like.

Not too sure. Bet he shags about. Also wasn't they videos kicking about a year or so ago when he looked off his head?

Made my mind up not to pay / watch this live. The Undercard is OK, featuring 3 decent boxers in Jack, Porter and Gervonta Davis. The latter 2, especially Davis, are involved in pretty easy fights. Jack faces Cleverly for a regular world title and although it has been mooted for a while, it was just announced this past week - just over 2 weeks notice.

Forget the 'main event', if the rest of the card was on Boxnation i would tape it and watch it the next day or later in the week. I will see if i can find it on Youtube or equivalent the next day, but if i don;t see it, i won't be too bothered.

I'm not going out my way to watch it like - got work the next day. I'll just get up in the morning, check the result and then decide whether to track down a link in the next few days.

Pretty much where I'm at. I'll try and get the undercard watched on the Sunday but I doubt I'll even bother with the main event circus unless it turns out to be an unexpectedly good fight

The fight due to start about 5am?
  13. I've heard from people who have met him that he loves the naughty salt. One girl in particular met him over the Christmas holidays in Dublin and she said he was out of it. She not the type of person to bullshit.

There's plenty of videos knocking about of him drunk and out of his head. He's a egomaniac so you have to wonder what will happen when the limelight moves away from him.

I seen a few videos of him on a bender a few months ago on @thatheavykid twitter which iirc McGregors lawyers got in touch with him to remove them. He likes a bit sniff.

So does Tyson Fury and he's mint at boxing.
  17. He's only 29 and has retired from boxing. He also suffers from depression and mental health issues. Great example.

Far too late for me as well. I stayed up for the Mayweather-Pac fight til 6.30am then drove home and was still feeling the effects on Monday . Very very rarely do that these days.
