I'm not. We've had our blip and we are still 3rd having lost only twice
Portsmouth are in their blip and have lost 3 times in 5 games.

We have more than enough to compete and if we can figure out a way to play to Wyke's strengths then we will be fine, especially if we bring Grigg in too

Wyke is a carthorse imo and just isn't going to score more than a handful. We don't create that many chances at the best of times, our overall game needs to step up and we need to start taking the game to teams. We've been getting away with it for months due to Maja scoring the one chance he gets.

Grigg would be excellent but he's out for another 3 weeks. It might be a slog until then - assuming he signs!

Disappointed a good academy product has gone but I don’t want players here that don’t want to play for us. Him being ‘ill’ for a crucial period and the cupping his ears to the fans against Scunthorpe showed his true colours for me. I was disappointed when asoro and mcnair left but we came out of that fine, we will do the same now maja has gone. Huge week coming up for the owners now

We have a meltdown on social media, mainly Twitter and Facebook, where many people seem determined to slag the manager.owners/potential signings/ current players at every opportunity which seems to a concerted effort to derail the excellent work that has been achieved since the take over.. I would love to say that it was Mags being naughty, but sadly it is undoubtedly so called Sunderland fans who are doing this..

They don't have them covered though, they are selling players to cover it

The roker report is exact odds of what he has just said
Had no option as he’d refused to play Man you nugget, don’t let the facts get in the way though! He walked out on Tuesday and cleared his locker! Best get something rather than a few hundred grand in a tribunal

I’d imagine, his agent has howked him round to every club in Europe in the hope of getting himself a pay day and Bordeaux have bitten, not having to find the money upfront has probably sweetened the deal for them short term as they won’t have to pay anything out they just won’t be getting the money later down the line.

Aye maybe. Don't think the payday in France will be as big as it would be if his contract expired & he went on the free market though. Revenues of French league is around 1.5bill whereas England PLis around 5.5 bill.
Think he could have got big money off an English team then. Normally what happens anyways! Ampadu will be on fortunes at Chelsea

Are they? That's the assumption, because they have used RR as a mouthpiece. However, not everything on RR comes from the club.

ah so the very one time you don't use roker report is the time it goes against your argument for once. how convenient

He does say the 5 million is covered and there’s surplus on top of that.

Its not covered though, the RR post, if thats true, shows that.

Created a surplus yet there is still £5m to pay?

Surplus refers to profit and loss, ie trading during the year. That doesn't have anything to do with pre-existing creditors. In fact, making a surplus is what means you can pay creditors rather than going bust. Say you earn £40,000 a year, but only spend £37,000. That's a £3,000 surplus. However, you owe £150,000 in your mortgage. That's a creditor.

If there was already a surplus there than surely that'll mean there's an extra 2.5 mill than can now be invested into the playing squad, just by the fact they don't need to pay that.

Isn’t this just a reminder that we aren’t yet out of the shitstorm that the new owners inherited.

Sorry to see Maja go but this is a long term turn around.

Short is basically till paying off all these other debts, as they are using the players he bought to pay for it, hell of a deal for them.

Haven’t seen the RR post. I’m not saying it is covered. I’m saying he has said it is covered. I’ve no idea if it is or not and I doubt anyone on here does.
