SUNDERLAND. Maja being chased in Germany. Agent very strong over there after Sancho success. Free in summer and better wages than in England. By a mile.
I told this board that about 6 weeks ago but I did not know whether it was too happen in January or July.

I don't know if things have changed now because of skygate

I heard on Saturday we’ve offered what the agent wanted for Maja with it back dated to August which means he gets a £300k lumper and around £10k a week, he also said there’s only one bid in for him which was from Celtic but apparently if he moves he only wants to go south! Whether any of the itk’s have heard similar I don’t know!

Plenty saying he's lazy, only scores goal () long before it got to this point marra.

Not sure, but regardless I won't be happy to see our only good forward leave.
Not happy to see him leave but if his head has been turned by his agent then how much effort will he really put in for the rest of the season.

Is he able to sign a pre contract and if hes is, it raises the question of whether he will want to risk injury before that kicks in?

Rather get something for him if he's off than lose him for nowt and have him "unwell" for the rest of the season

I know but that makes absolutely no sense for the lad himself with his development going so well. If he is confident in his own ability and does the business at championship level he would literally have his pick of clubs.

All he lacks is strength and that is guaranteed to come.

Problem is we develop and condition these lads to have confidence and belief in themselves so they brush off criticisms, ignore negative comments and so it doesn't affect their confidence. So Maja will probably be full of belief and think he's different, that he is ready, not to mention the wages and the fact it's probably much more lucrative for his agent who will be offering advice.

I'd rather we kept him but it's causing us problems and losing him for nothing would be unthinkable if theres an opportunity to reinvest some money from his sale in the squad.
