how much would the bundesliga clubs be offering him?? would it be a lot more than us??
SUNDERLAND. Maja being chased in Germany. Agent very strong over there after Sancho success. Free in summer and better wages than in England. By a mile.

It's from Alan Nixon on Twitter so feel free to call bullshit.....

Unless it’s to Bayern or Dortmund then it won’t be. The average salary over there is about £25k a week. So yeah, it’ll be bollocks.

He is on roughly a grand a week now, would be on around 8 if he signed a new contract, without them having to pay a fee he could probably double that, our best hope is a prem team comes in for him, he's gone either way, but at least then we would get some sort of fee.

I think the Germany rumor is based on two things; it would result in no transfer fee (doom and gloom). And his agent also has Sancho and (and Reiss Nelson, albeit on loan) in their stables, both in Germany.

If the lad gets 25k a week fair play!!!

Hopefully this gets sorted quickly. Yet another piece of legacy from the Short era.

People who happy to let him go must have broken brains
Or maybe they've accepted he's already away and we need to move on? Do you honestly see him signing a new contract marra?

The sensible thing would be to offer him a one year contract but with a big bonus if he fired us to the PL. If he does the business and was good in the Championship next season his value would go up and we would be in a stronger position to compete in regard to wages.

If he doesn't do the business he's no loss.

Tbf, we have offered everything his agent has requested. We need to try and sell before he walks away for nowt

I know but that makes absolutely no sense for the lad himself with his development going so well. If he is confident in his own ability and does the business at championship level he would literally have his pick of clubs.

All he lacks is strength and that is guaranteed to come.

Plenty saying he's lazy, only scores goal () long before it got to this point marra.

Not sure, but regardless I won't be happy to see our only good forward leave.
Neither will I. I don't think he's ever had any intention of staying here though. If he's starting to take the piss (obviously we don't know for definite) then it needs sorting out quickly.
