Spoke to a fella I know outside Sainsbury’s in fulwell yesterday. Had a good crack with him he said and in the end asked what he was going to do. Said maja looked him dead in the eye and said he wasn’t going anywhere and he is staying here.

Time will tell though, suppose if he was sick and wanted to leave he may or gave the “see what happens” line.

I can’t see him staying if I’m honest and I’m just hoping that all this being played out in the media is just his agent trying to squeeze an extra few grand a week out of us! At the end of the day he’s our top scorer and they come at a premium and will be hard to replace but obviously not to the detriment of the club!
