To broadcast he was available and hawk him around?

It also makes it look like it’s the club who have said he refused to sign - SSN never says “so and so’s agent told us he wouldn’t sign a new deal” so the inference would have been that we hadn’t given what he wanted.

Aye, right. You've been pissing and moaning about the club not giving him what he wanted to sign for weeks.

Now it's been made clear the Club did give him what he wanted you're having a good old whinge because of how it was announced.

You have been against the new owners from the start, and spent all summer going on like a spoilt bairn. There's absolutely no way you'd have said "fair enough" if the club had simply told us Maja was leaving and you know it.....so does everyone else on here because you're a notorious bore.
He's a Short apologist mate. Amazingly a few still exist.

I can't be arsed reading through over 1300 posts so can anyone tell us what's happened/happening?
We approached him to negotiate a new contract.
We negotiated a new contract with his agent.
We offered him what he requested.
Maja sought out Ross specifically to tell him he was going to sign the new contract.
Less than 24 hours later the first inkling the club has that things have changed is when they find out from f***ing Sky that he's not signing the contract because the agent has contacted them first totbriadcasb his availability without having the courtesy to at least tell us first.

Obviously I'm not thrilled Maja is leaving because I think he's a top prospect. However, it seems like that was always going to be the case despite the best efforts of SAFC to keep him.

Therefore I am glad we have an owner who will call these parasites out publicly. Far too many people pander to them when they do nowt but take from the game with little to no positive contribution. They've had a decent hand in ruining our club and I can't believe any SAFC/football fan wouldn't find some pleasure in one of them being slated in public and shown up for what they are.

Also...at the point world leaders are using twitter to do their business I think anyone who believes it to be unprofessional is living in a different era. It's not as formal but as we have all seen it can be very effective in getting an unfiltered story across, especially if you have an audience you want to talk directly to.

Cheers for that!

Ha'way the Jack:

"The club has set a timeline on what they believe is a final and fair offer.

"As I said at the weekend, should that pass - which would probably be at the close of play tomorrow - then nothing really changes for me or for Josh, other than perhaps people's perception of the situation.

"The relationship between me and Josh is really good, he is in good form, and as long as he is here, I will continue to use him.

I’d drop him tomorrow now. His head won’t be in the rite place. 1/2 season of being a decent goal scorer then he acts billy big bollocks. The club offered x 7 his wages. For me maja needs to come out and speak for himself. Tell us the truth.

I wonder how many posters today, cos there lots I have not seen before, have actually been to the SOL

So you don't know he's been acting billy big bollocks then?
