My original relevant point was that it is a waste of 3 grand. Admit it mate - it's a pile of hoss shite.

The counter argument is that it adds to the atmosphere.

My riposte was that at the end of the day the resident mags need to accept that you, as a collective, give us plenty of ammo to rip the piss out of you (as a collective).

If you and the other mags were in a pub in Sunderland you would expect plenty of 'pub point scoring'.

Seen Wolves (Friendly 0-1) and NUFC (Championship 1-2) play at the Pirelli this season. Wolves noticeably louder.

I live about a mile from the Pirelli stadium in burton, the loudest this season were sheff weds early in the season. I was expecting to find dozens of drunken mags littering the streets for days but I didn't hear a peep. Maybe they're a lot more sanitised these days and need a flag to rouse the unrowdy rabble of rapscallions.
