Mags new flag

Don't take this next bit as a defence of the design which as I've already stated isn't to my taste but, Magpies are from the Corvidae family (crows) and I'd be interested to see cartoon magpies that don't look like crows.

Sorry to spoil your fun, mind.

Mags.....such a high opinion of themselves and the stadium their council rents them.....an opinion that absolutely nobody else in the country shares or even cares about!

Haven't clicked on it - is there a flag about how much Newcastle love a number 9 that scores goals? Because most clubs fans are lukewarm towards strikers that score goals.

Seems like a good idea to me

If waving bits of cloth helps create a bit of atmosphere at the littler clubs outside the premier league then they should go for it.

Don't get all these people having a go at clubs like South Shields and Newcastle.

I cringe every time I see those 2 half donkey/half maggot creatures on their badge .... yet some of these people have them tattooed on their bodies

They are nicknamed the Magpies and the Magpie is part of the crow family perhaps?

Perhaps we should have Tigers on our flags ;)

BTW, is there another club with cartoon characters on their flags out of interest?

Loads of magpies that don't look like crows (because they look like magpies) came up when you googled 'cartoon magpie', as well you know.

I've knocked up a Sunderland version, to see if it helps you understand that magpies aren't the same as crows.
