Charlie Miller - played 80 games for Rangers before the age of 23, completely flopped at Watford before a decent spell at Dundee United. Was playing in Norway aged 28, and played a grand total of 8 games in the Belgian 2nd tier at 31.

Dan Burn, was to be the next big English centre back when he broke through at Fulham but has never kicked on. Strangely at Brighton now but was out on load last season.

He wasn't on loan last season. He played nearly every match.

Not that I’m aware of. He always seems to join a club when they are in downward spiral or crisis.

I always thought Baldwin would become a solid Championship player. Obviously lacking something mentally to really kick on.

Think its more likely his ruptured knee ligament, we just signed him after this because we are/were a farce.

I think he might be thinking of Matt Clarke, the lad who was playing centre back for Portsmouth in our first season at this level. Kenny Jackett was touting him as someone who'll play for England one day. He went to Brighton but was shipped straight out on loan to Derby, where he's been (on loan) for two seasons now. Still only 24 so has time on his side, I guess.
