Loans loans and more loans

Its a worry the amount that are out of contract end of the season, we may need nearly a whole new squad

Likes of robson, if we are loaning him out give him a new deal first or he chance to do well again and sign somewhere else end of the season

We would anyway in the Champo

Not exactly backing is it
A loan stays for 6 months / a year and isnt a risky investment.

Buying players (especially foreigners) domt stay if they are good and we cant get rid when they are shite.

The further things go in football the less important buying players becomes imo

For anyone believing his spiel about the timing of the fanzines' statement (which wasn't great tbf) what was his excuse for not spending in the summer, whilst actively trying to sell the club?

This. Most of the squad is out of contract I believe.
Most will take a contract renewal if offered

Seems a bit, mismanaged to let them players run their contracts down, given its not 100% that promotion is a certainty.
If you fail to get promoted you need better players to get promoted. If you get promoted you need better players to compete the next season.

True but it would also be wise to hold onto a core of players, and not have to replace so many. depend on those who's deals are due to expire.

At the end of the day, I don’t think we have the ability at the moment to spend a seven figure sum on a transfer fee for a player. Maybe I’m completely wrong. Tbh, we probably aren’t even looking at that level of player anyway, and the ones we are (Docherty) are loan deals.

Wouldn't be surprised if we have an option on another year with the likes of O'Nien and Flanagan, the same way we did with McGeouch and James.
