Lets All Laugh At Newcastle (Again!)

What I do find weird is the delusion. If I had just been relegated I'd be gutted. But they seem delighted as Rafa might stay. Stranger still are the mags who come on here.

There are quite a few who are saying they'd rather be in the Championsip with Rafa than in the Permier League with Sam. Hopefully Rafa will keep them in the Championship for a few seasons so they can show us their delight for a good while yet.

Another date for your diaries everyone;

And six days later

I was already laughing at the Mags because they'd been relegated ...... but this 'Rafa is God/Sunderland didn't relegate us' stuff is a different kind of laughter.

This is how you would laugh at your neighbour if his car was on fire and he couldn't get the pin out of the fire extinguisher.

He'd be getting ever more hysterical, slamming it on the ground, running around in circles and finally watching the car burn to the ground.

Mind you, if he was a Mag he'd claim he was thinking of changing the car anyway

Once they lose some of their "marquee" players they will be left with some utter fookin crud.......funny as fook this

It was heartening reading comments from other fans forums; they seem to dislike them as much as us. I suppose arrogance and delusion will have that affect on people.
Plenty of away fans said the same in the Colliery Tavern this season too

It says a lot about the Mags that they are trying to turn Rafas apparent willingness to stay as some sort of Geordie epiphany within a week of the same man taking them down. No wonder other fans don't take them seriously.

On that subject - working in Leeds it surprised me how many neutrals backed us above them. I thought the Johnson fiasco (and our repeated flirtations with relegation) would see us as many peoples preferred choice to go down. But nothing could be further from the truth.

A lot of people openly backed us rather than them. One Liverpool fan admitted that he can't stand them and said, "I've never met a single Newcastle supporter who doesn't talk absolute crap when it comes to football"

It's a long, long time since they were (supposedly) everyone's favourite second club.

Republic of Telly Jen in Newcastle. worth a look if anyone wants another laugh at them.

A total of 47 clubs have played in the Premier League from its inception in 1992, up to and including the 2015–16 season.

That means that 27 clubs, who thought they were too good to be relegated and that they'd be straight back up are currently out of the prem.

Newcastle did it last time because they had a Championship squad, they only bought 6 players. They ditched Martins, Owen and the rest and they had an honest, hard working team left.

Now they have a bunch of overpaid, unmotivated players

You ain't coming back up and Rafa ain't signing.

From what I read Rafa has agreed a deal and given his terms, but NUFC wont put it in writing, so Rafa is stalling.

Every NUFC manager has been promised the earth under Ashley and the club has went back on it's word each time.

Oh dear. It's not all about you lot, old boy. We lost to better and worse sides than you in the 15/16 season, it wasn't just the Sunderland results that sent us down, it was those results and the other 36 too.

It may give your season the cherry on top, and you should enjoy that, but saying you sent us down is like saying you also sent Norwich down, (which I've not seen anyone crowing about thus far) or Everton's performance sent us down (which I've not seen anyone claiming). Charnley, McClaren and the players sent us down, you just got to enjoy the show.

Context dear boy, context.

The thing is after 3/4 of the season it was basically a mini league down at the bottom due to both of us and Norwich being shit (villa were long gone). For the last 10 games or so it was pretty obvious that there were 3 teams fighting for the one spot that would ensure survival.

Forget the first 28 games, we were all f***ing gash, this was a last minute fight to the death and the prize was a big fat cheque for over 100,000,000 English pounds and another year of premier league glory.

You got relegated because we were the only twats who you could have realistically caught in this mini war.

Sunderland Association Football Club have just f***ing relegated you.

Now fuck off

It's also a fact that, just as Leicester clinched the title with a win against Everton, we made relegation certain for Newcastle against the same team.

If not for that win you wouldn't have been relegated that night .......... but you were.

And it was delicious
