If he’s backed well this month we’ll go up
The injuries we have had aren’t mentioned enough, no team would cope with same situation
The mentality to play today against a known physical team was great to see
The style of play is best we’ve seen in years
Club has a plan, emphasis on developing players, singing young hungry players
We’re a good watch I can’t remember last time we were
Over to the owner, the manager deserves support

Deserves huge praise I think this last couple month, depleted squad and has more than kept us in touch. He is improving players and has a record of getting the best out of strikers.

We play the best football I've seen from any side since we came down to League one. He seems to have found a way to get us competing against physical sides after the early season blip. Its a joy to watch us at times, haven't said that for years.

If we do miss out then I think he'll be given another season. But I dont see two sides finishing ahead of us as long as Stewart stays fit.
I like Johnson like. I think hes doing a decent job.

Like LJ alot and want him to succeed. He and his staff have worked wonders with some of the players but thought he was a bit dejected after the game. The number of quality chances we created in the 2nd half and still only to come away with a point must have been very disappointing for him( and us). Reinforces our need for a beast CB and let's hope we get him plus a back up striker for Big Rod just in case fate follows its usual course with us and shits all over us.
Good thing is we have another game quite quickly. I'm sure he'll be telling the players to get back out there and take the kick in the bollocks out on Lincoln.

He deserves credit, If we don’t go up I wouldn’t give him another term tho, we can wave goodbye to the likes of Stewart, Prichard etc This is why it’s a must we go up. I’d love to see them in the championship in a red and white shirt.

If we don’t go up it’ll be because we’ll have had another bad run. And there’d be little justification for keeping him on if that was to happen.

Let’s hope it doesn’t and we go up at a canter. We have to be out of this division next season.

Him keeping the job depends on the circumstances of the rest of our season. I certainly wouldn’t automatically get rid of we don’t get up though. All manner of reasons why that could happen and context is essential. He’s most definitely the best manager we’ve had since being down here.
I have been of the opinion that if we don't go up he has to go but now I am not sure. He seems to be totally in sync with what the club is trying to do. We are playing great football and we have real belief. The way we are playing would mean it would be a shame if he went. You make a good point though - if, for example, we do what we did in the last 10 games what we did last year then you'd be worried. I can be accused of being fickle or hypocritical but he's showing a side that I was unsure he had i.e. a steeliness.

What if the bad run wasn’t his fault?

I can’t get my head around this simplistic, childish viewpoint that whenever the team loses a game it’s the managers fault. There are all sorts of reasons why a team can go on a bad run - player errors, injuries, bad refereeing and plain bad luck for example. None of those are within the control of a manager.

In a strange way I think the injuries we've had have helped him. He's had to stick to a settled side and it's allowed players like Pritchard and Wright find some form.

Absolutely this. I think he brought Wright in because we were lacking a bit physique at the back, but Pritchard and the system only seemed to get a decent run as we were pretty much out of options.

In the past here he's probably had too many options and when performances haven't been great he's constantly rotated rather than sticking by some of the players and allowing them to gain some kind of consistency.

The poor spell earlier in the season had me raging - it was terrible and we were too soft, too easy to play against and thankfully he seems to have understood some of why it was happening. We're still a bit weak centrally on occasions and at centre back, but In my time of watching I've not seen anything as attack minded as this and hopefully we continue to progress for a long while yet.

I thought we were excellent today

Give him some more players in January

More like Pritchard

I think he should definitely get another year, unless we capitulate as horribly as we did last season, which I don't think we will.

I think we'll go up with games to spare.

I think it was evident in our bad run towards the end of last season too. At the time we had 5 subs to use and there was a few times he changed half of the side during the game. I don't doubt he'll have realised this now though and will probably be the first to say we are now getting from Pritchard the player we hoped we had signed.

Pretty much exactly where I am.

Not sure what you’re on about. Before today it had been over two months since we conceded more than 1 goal in an away league game.
But we do concede a lot of chances and as per usual the better sides usually take advantage of this. Would be much happier if we were more secure down our flanks and had a beast CB to deal with the oppositions beasts. But the fact LJ is intelligent, speaks well, improves players, has us on the front foot and attempting to win every game works really well for me.
