Mowgli

Striker
Deserves huge praise I think this last couple month, depleted squad and has more than kept us in touch. He is improving players and has a record of getting the best out of strikers.

We play the best football I've seen from any side since we came down to League one. He seems to have found a way to get us competing against physical sides after the early season blip. Its a joy to watch us at times, haven't said that for years.

If we do miss out then I think he'll be given another season. But I dont see two sides finishing ahead of us as long as Stewart stays fit.

He's done brilliantly tbf, since our little blip.
Toughened the side up, got us playing brilliant football at times and all through a horrendous injury/COVID list.

That second half today against a shithouse promotion rival, away from home, was excellent.

There's also a togetherness in the squad and everyone is playing for him and the shirt. Harmony seems fantastic with the squad.

Fair play. I like him

Might I add, his man management with individuals and getting them to play to their strengths AND improve their game is a real highlight of his management

There isn’t a single player in and around the first team at the moment, who hasn’t improved as a player under him.

That’s the mark of a good coach. Putting aside his waffle in interviews sometimes - which, let’s be honest, is irrelevant - it’s plain to see that he’s doing a fantastic job with the players on the training pitch. That’s going to be crucial if the new idea is (rightly) to buy young players and improve them.

Op is one of the most fickle people on this board
Not at all, I've never been Johnson out. But I think he's done a real good job since middle of November when it was looking bleak about staying in touch with our injuries

To be fair, we’ve all said, the best way to lose the nickname ‘Streaky’ is to not have streaks in your results. This season our longest ‘streak’ has been 3 wins and 3 defeats. Promotion teams … win a few, lose one or draw one, win a few, etc. That’s exactly what we’re doing this season.
