They will have a say, they have enough shares between them both at the minute.
SD still running this club untill it's signed and sealed. Upto now it hasn't.

Poyet wants a sporting director to be told 'here's the list of players, you go buy them'. I'm far from convinced that the reluctance to collaborate would only come from Speakman in this instance.

I’m not blaming either of them, just saying the new direction is incompatible because this bloke obviously expects total autonomy. For better or worse we will find out soon enough!

That's exactly why they appointed a CEO. Exactly as Short did.

I suppose I've got nowt against the CEO, he's just acting on orders of the owners. Once the owners are replaced, hopefully his orders will change (or he is paid off)

Well I doubt it considering one of the supposed "new" owners, already owns the club

This isnt new information. We've known that for weeks. The name drop is irrelevant though. He's the man in the job right now.
 
I wish the bloke the very best of luck. He’s going to need it working for Curly,Larry,and Mo. If it hadn’t been for those 3 dicks I’d have been a lot more optimistic.

Aye that’s exactly what people were expecting...

There has been much talk about takeovers and full scale revolution with exciting plans. In reality, we have an existing owner, the same CEO, a modestly successful youth team coach from the second tier and a manager with no real managerial achievements to speak of.

I only hope Johnson has a break clause in his contract if we don't get promoted this season but it won't be the case. At least Speakman has some pedigree...
