Flintoff was fading out the England fold at that time, Morgan got a gig but he was only a bit part player in comparison to KP. He played a big part in the change of thinking but it would’ve been easier had others have been in demand as well at the time.I am sure they were other players about at the same time who the IPL will have wanted Flintoff springs to mind.
Will have to agree to disagree as I don't think he made it easier, it was just a question of the ECB moving with the times, as we know they can be stuck in the dark ages.
Of course he was right what he was saying at the time, however don't think it was him who forced the change of thinking.
