Successfully used in James Bond films, sometimes they even go so far as using a double chop.
Anyone ever used one in a fight? I can't imagine it working out well.
It would take some special person to even consider the chop in a one to one combat situation.

The chop is narrower than a fist, meaning it's more difficult to stop.
A forward chop to both eyeballs could cause damage. Speed is key.
I doubt it could ever be used as a finishing blow but it's occasionally been useful in sparring as a distraction to get me into a better position for a takedown, joint lock or choke.
