Did you try turning it off and turning it on again?Managed feck all today, or the past week as I tried to update the firmware on my inverter and it killed it stone dead. Now waiting for GivEnergy to send out an engineer to give it the kiss of life.
That's immense for a short day too26kWh today with 14 exported at 15p, great effort for early Jan.
Just shows even on a freezing cold day you can still get good numbers on a cloudless bright day.

Lend iz a KW, you know I’m good for it. You’ll get it back when I get paid. Honest.Forecast generation for the next few days looking good as well despite the actual snow forecast!
It reckons on 15 today followed by 25 tomorrow and 26 on Thursday...we'll see.
Only if your system is specified to do that. It isn't a standard function as you have to build in extra safegaurds to make sure you don't export during the power cut as you could electrocute the folks trying to fix it.Those who have solar, if there was a power cut can you just run the leccy off the battery until it dies as well ?

Yes if you buy the extra hardware and functionality to do that. It isn't standard for a domestic system. It is typical for those folks who want to be self sufficieant and as off grid as possible.Ahh right, so it couldnt just auto isolate itself from the grid and act like a power bank type of thing
Roughly how much more would you be looking at for that?Yes if you buy the extra hardware and functionality to do that. It isn't standard for a domestic system. It is typical for those folks who want to be self sufficieant and as off grid as possible.
No idea. When I got mine installed it's not something I thought was needed.Roughly how much more would you be looking at for that?

Some of the all-in-one systems like the new one from GivEnergy have it as standard.Roughly how much more would you be looking at for that?
