In defence I suspect we will move on a lot in January anyway. So ample space for another CB, especially of that standard.

We haven’t played any team of significance yet ( we will ) and that will tell us how we are travelling. An injury to Alderete could change everything. Mukiele is a RB who can play CB.

Mukiele can definitely play Centre half at this level. May even be his best position.

I suspect we won't because they aren't very good and no club will pay the price

Not that easy we have to be careful around the homegrown player role
 
I’d imagine if he wins his case the only club he could go to before January would be us seeing as we were the club involved. However I’m not sure we should be getting involved in this sort of thing.

He's trying to use article 17 to cancel his contract. It basically means a court decide his worth and he buys his own contract out.

Cirkin and Alesse are both very good. Its the injury record that will have teams worried.

Johnson is decent enough and wont be expensive.

I really rate Aljese. Reckon there’s a top drawer CB . Didn’t realise he is taller than Alderete and same height as Mukiele.
Admittedly only seen him playing in c’ship games but he seems ( when fit ) so composed and has so much time

He struggled badly against the Mags in the cup. He looked a good yard slower than what he did in championship games

Was probably carrying an injury as usual. But I remember Patterson giving him the ball 1st half when Almiron was right on him, when Hume was free. But he's never a LB, just like Rusyn was never even a footballer never mind a CF

We only need 8 in the squad I believe? So that’s 7 there, without mentioning the likes of H Jones meaning we can likely shift on a lot in defence if needed. Unless the rule has changed from 8?
