James Anderson Watch in Australia

I'm glad we have a solid coach in Flower, and not a knee jerker. He will keep faith with the team as will the selectors and Captain, and rightly so.

Regardless of how the media perceived the Austalian team, it was never going to be an easy series to win. As it turns out it may be a classic, which is why we all watch test cricket, is it not ?

wont ever have a better chance of winning in Australia. If we dont win, will be a sad indicment of how ordinary this England side actually is

Thats very true.

We have been told that this is the most ordinary Australia side in decades. If we lose what will that say about us?

the pressure is well and truly on both sides now.

Watson is a test number 6 but is opening

Hughes is a very ordinary opening batsman

Ponting cannot buy a run and is past his best

Clarke is not fit which is why he isnt bowling to protect his back

Smith wouldnt get in the Durham side

Hadden and Hussey are in good form and are solid performers

Siddle tries hard but is limited and wouldnt strengthen the Durham attack

Hilfenhaus tries hard and is outbowling Jimmy in swing friendly conditions

Johnson couldnt hit a barn door with bat or ball and we have now played him back into form

Why won't we ever have a better chance ? Are you quivering at the thought of Hughes, Smith, Doherty and co lining up for Australia for years to come ?

by the next time we go down under, the Aussies will have sorted themselves out. They dont stay stagnant for long

No they won't man. Stop getting your knickers in a twist, poor performance from which England will fight back from. Just look forward to a cracking boxing day test. It will be a dam sight better than the rollover I went half round the world to watch in 06.

lost the test on the first day, wasnt a 260 wicket first up.

grass left on the wicket, was ideal for bowling. poor effort

You f***ing coward coming back the second England have a shit time - you should have just stuck it out  Anderson has had a fair match and one of the few England players to come out of it with any credit. 3 test matches - bowled pretty well in all of them and made a huge contribution to winning one of them.

Why would I come on here and tell people not to get carried away after a test win in the 2nd test to be told to stop being negative.

Its hardly old news me telling people, England are an ordinary side.

Its pretty embarassing getting dicked on by an Australian side as bad as this

From someone who was a likeable buffoon you have made yourself loook like a complete wanker. Anderson and Swann win a test after you have spent months slagging them off then you take the huff disappear and come back when you feel you have an argument again.

You are a complete and utter embarrassment

biding my time. Its embarassing reading the posts on here sometimes

Here is a stat for you, after the win over arguably the greatest side to ever play the game in 2005, only one English bowler was in the top 10 of the bowling rankings. Hoggard creeped in at 9.

We now potentially have 3 in the top 5 despite struggling to beat a woeful Australia

That just proves my point of how poor test cricket now is and that the bowling rankings mean next to nothing in comparison to previous seasons.

Are good teams not allowed off days, its how we bounce back that will determine the outcome of this series

Compared to the great Aussie sides of recent years they may be woeful but if you forget about them teams this lot are a half decent side

you cant afford too many bad days.

The Aussies didnt have many bad days when they were last over and lost the series

We have had 3 bad days on the trott now, couple more in the next test and the series will be gone

If we lose to this shower of shite, heads should roll

:lol::lol:

despite people like Duncan Fletcher telling you in black and white this is the worse Aussie side for 30 years, who have already slipped to 5 in the rankings, your now trying to say they are half decent

what makes them look half decent is the shite we have served up

As I said in my predictions, Broad is Englands best player and is a huge loss and others havent stepped up to the plate. Notable mention to Tremlett who bowled tremendously and exploited the conditions expertly

England looking like losing and Essex Boy returns to the cricket board. I would have never guessed that would have happened.

Rentaghost appears and would you believe Andy is 2 minutes behind, who would have thought it

I haven't read any of the posts since your initial one as the whole thread will be following the same predictable pattern.

Gutless coward. Are you not even slightly embarrassed at yourself. Cracking England victory inspired by 2 players you have hammered and you skulk off all shame faced instead of having a bit of a laugh at yourself. Awful England loss and you are back here rubbing your hands.

What sort of a human being are you?

didnt sulk at all, as I previously said, problem with Jimmy is he is still the same hit and miss bowler he has always been

yet again has gone missing in a big game. You were trying to convince people we did well to bowl them out for 260 odd, which was then shown up to be complete crap

so you havent read any of the posts but decide to have a cherp anyway, reason why I dont come on here that much anymore, dont mind having a conversation with someone who has a well thought out opinion like Rentaghost but not people who just jump on the badwagon without actually having anything to say

In short.

biding my time, knew it wouldnt last

Im more concerned that so many of the Australian team have been so poor all series (ie, Ponting, Clarke, Hilfenhaus and until yesterday Johnson) and yet come this tomorrow were all square

very worried.

He's had 1 bad innings.
