Lol I think it’s a bit more complicated than that, mate
same as last season thenAt the minute our whole game plan revolves around McGeady having a good game and pulling out a wonder strike or hoping that the opposition are shitter than we are.
We play really well for the odd 5 minute spell each game, play ok for the odd 10 minute spell and then diabolical for the rest.
Ffs get off the mans back...we are in the turd division, unfortunately deservedly so and we will have to battle our way out. Picking on the manager to vent your frustration, will just make him develop a bunker mentality and not do us any favours.
Management will sack him if he loses a string of games and not until..
I know momentum in sport is a big factor, but when Mcgeady missed the penalty, it was if all the air came out of the tyres..
Gooch is the pentaker is he not
Yes in the 2nd half, Rotherham looked the better side
Couldn't believe we were caught offside so many times last night. One was from a free kick taken by Mclaughlin inside his own box and punted 60yds upfield. Flag goes up and we concede possession with just minutes left. I know the term schoolboy error gets overused on here but for fucks sake man.I’d love to know what they do on the training pitch

"if you arent winning games EVERY single week you'll get criticised"
we are in big trouble
Wish he wasThe problem is that Ross hasn’t realised that the pressure is always on when you are manager of safc
He thinks he is still in paisley
And he's had more than enough time and chances to prove that his way works and more than enough time and chances to prove that he can learn from previous mistakes......
good post - I haven't seen the game but 90% of everything is wanting it more, regardless of the level. If he wants to know how to keep clean sheets I’ll offer my advice from ten years of coaching kids football!
When the opposition start getting a foothold in the game don’t sit back and try to absorb pressure giving them even more possession in our half. Get the word onto the pitch to go at them, close them down high up the pitch and turnover possession in their half, the crowd reacts and lifts the team more giving them the added energy they lack. Time after time, season after season we’ve sat back and tried to defend with ten men behind the ball and it has NEVER worked.
Oh and I’ll say it one more time tonight, get them to be the fittest team in the league not the least fit.
Ross on Millers draw
Jack Ross believes lessons must be learned quickly as Sunderland's wait for their first clean sheet of the season continued this evening against Rotherham United.www.safc.com

I'm amazed that Ross can't understand that if you're in a big job, the pressure is constant and it never really goes away because a top manager is the one who puts pressure on himself and his team.
This fella is trying to get himself out of a jam by dampening expectations, continually saying that we are coming up against good sides.....we're now in real danger of sides playing with no fear against us as they know we won't press, we don't bully sides and we can't play with any real intensity.
