Will hopefully be allowed to bring in players to fit that philosophy. Can’t see Cattermole etc being able to adapt to that style of play.
Think he's on about City to be fair to him.
Yup, there isn't one good reason for keeping him. Getting rid will be the difficult part.He has to go, for so many different reasons.
ExactlyAgreed. IMHO Poyet showed that you need about 6 players regularly starting who make the system work. At least to start with, eventually they all need to suit the style but that won't happen overnight.
Unfortunately for Poyet he lost all the players who made his system work at the end of the escape season and the replacements weren't up to it.

Fuckinell. I thought we only had a year to go.3 years to run on his contract, and high wages.

Aye. 30k/week at a conservative estimate. He wouldn't be value for money even if he was on a fraction of that.3 years to run on his contract, and high wages.
Exactly
I liked Poyet, tried to implement a possession based philosophy but had to try and get the likes of O’Shea & Cattermole to do it - those two and others aren’t suited to that style at all.
It was concise, certainly.I liked our statement that basically called Colback a ****

Hope he is the new sir Alex mate. Thanks for your input.Honestly, I think he's got something special. In a year's time, with hindsight, if you're not all totally delighted with his appointment, I'd be stunned.
We've had managers who've achieved more than he has for us in recent years and there was never this amount of hype over any of them. He very quickly become a not-very-well-kept secret within football. I realise he may not have made it onto many of your radars, but honestly, he's a good guy.
Fowler his assistant for one. Thats why deal was delayed over agreeing joint compo for them both.
that's why we wont be able to offload him, nobody is daft enough to offer him a better deal.3 years to run on his contract, and high wages.
Yes mate, I am aware I was literally the first person to break this information.
